State of the shiny

Even though I've been quiet here, I've been beading like mad the last couple of months. No pictures of most of it yet, because 1. I have about 12 mostly finished pieces (strung, just need finishing) and 2. I was waiting for a "fake neck" style display I ordered. That came in the wrong color, and I just got the replacement last week. So soon I'll have a whole bunch of stuff to spam you with.
But in the meantime, here's some snapshots of what I'm working on tonight:
The state of the bead board:

Picked up these silver and gold swirl polymer clay beads tonight. Currently strung with metallic silver Miyuki cubes, gold matte faceted Czech glass and silver plate squares:

Picked up these pink swirl polymer clay beads tonight. Currently paired with dark and light pink mixed glass and silver plate 3mm rounds:

Labradorite choker. Been playing with this for a while. 3mm labradorite rounds with sterling spacers. Hill Tribe silver tube focus with five labradorite charms (hung on sterling head pins). Will end up with a sterling S clasp:

My new display finally showed up in the right color! Just playing around with photographing using it:

Reorganized the stash again. To free up space on the shelves, I put hooks inside the doors to hang all my cord and chain. There's also some hooks on he outside side of the cabinet for more cord:

Date: 2009-02-16 02:03 pm (UTC)I never seen anything like the Hill Tribe silver tube focus with the head pin holes in the UK.
I take my hat off to your organised stash.

I've started carrying a few of the beads around with me so that if I pop into a craft or bead store I can see if they have anything that works.

Apparently they don't have them in any metal other than sterling, so they're pricey.
